Answer Cancer is pleased to publish a report detailing its work during year 2 of the programme which covered April 2020 to March 2021.

Year 2 of the programme was dominated by the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The programme activities had to proactively adapt to the restrictions enforced by the Pandemic as delivery moved almost entirely online.

Despite this the following was achieved:

• A total of 1,443 individuals signed up to be Answer Cancer Champions, with 94 as Lead Answer Cancer Champions.
• 533 people attended 46 online Answer Cancer Training sessions.
• Grants totalling £49,000 were made to 26 community organisations for activities to increase cancer awareness
